Red Admiral, Painted Lady

Hi guys i am new to this kind of stuff, I went to Arnside Knot with Wayne who is a member here and I took these photo's with my little old compact.
What do you thinks guys ?
Ooh guys I have ordered my new camera which is a Fuji S9500.....

Very nice Darren - I especially like the backlighting on the Painted Lady!

Darren,
I think they are very good photos considering they were taken with a compact camera, as Pete said the back lighting on the PL is excellent, I also like the proboscis curled as it is.
I am sure you will enjoy your new camera even more, I know I have done.

Superb shots for a small compact. If you *learn to use the S9500 properly you should get some stunning results!
