Your moths pics are great to see! Moths offer a distinct advantage over many butterflies in that they are often happy to pose (still) in the daylight hours. Finding them may be trickier though apart from the millions of yellow underwings we have had in our house recently. What I've not seen in years are any sp. of hawk moth. A few years ago we had quite a few hummigbird hawk moths feeding on my parents honeysuckle - obviously a good year for them - i think they come in from Africa? My all time favourites are the Emporer Moths - I used to keep them as a kid. On warm summer evenings I used to put the females in a lit cage on my bedroom window and could get the odd male come in for a little love action. Fortunately I lived on the edge of a field where they cold reguarly be found feeding on Bramble (i think). I used to overwinter the chrysalis' in my mums fridge - much to her annoyance. They were the days!

Great photos, I love the Oak Eggar. I love moths too, but not great at photgraphing them as you are. Whats the first moth shot you have there (the grey one looking towards you)? and what camera/lens did you use? Getting me jelous a bit
