I am, only a novice though but I'm learning. Purchased Field Guide to Moths of Great Britain and Ireland by Townsend and Waring not long ago, what a great book! it's helping me alot.

Yes.

I have had the joy of Large Yellow Underwings loose in the house the last couple of evenings, flying around maniacally making plenty of noise, and then apparently disappearing.

I recently joined Back Garden Moths, and blow me down if there isn't some cheeky sod there who's nicked your moniker!

Hi Rosy,

I've been moth trapping for about a year now. Last night I caught one of your namesakes for the first time, and a beautiful moth it is too!!

All the best,

Robin

Hello Robin. :D

Funnily enough, I have never had a Rosy Rustic in the trap. I might dust off the egg boxes and give it a bash tonight.

Regards,

Susie
