White-letter Hairstreak

Today I found a White-letter Hairstreak in Northumberland Park, Tynemouth, Northumberland. I'm posting the sighting as its a new species to me and I'm not sure if its rare or even supposed to be up here. I did get pictures but it was always high so the shots are not great.

They're right at the limit of their range - so well done! Perhaps another sign of climate change. The distribution map can be found here:

this is it. its a big crop from the original as it was always high in its chosen tree
