What is this butterfly, please?

I saw and photographed this butterfly today. The site was on the southern edge of Bath, adjacent to a small car park, in an area that is a mixture of wood and grassland. There were a large number of pyramid orchids in the grassland.

I would say that it is a female common blue.

Yes, I would second that. Doesn't look right for Adonis.
