Just look at that underwing. Let's face it, if they were as rare as the purple emperor we'd travel the length of the country to see them.

Nice pic :D

For years and years this thing has evaded me, I've only seen one 2 times, once as a young child and once earlier this year outside my window at work!

I'm determined to get a photo of one this year though...

Couldn't agree more.

I also think that the Peacock is underestimated. Surely one of the most beautiful creatures on the planet :)
