Just look at that underwing. Let's face it, if they were as rare as the purple emperor we'd travel the length of the country to see them.

For years and years this thing has evaded me, I've only seen one 2 times, once as a young child and once earlier this year outside my window at work!

I'm determined to get a photo of one this year though...

I also think that the Peacock is underestimated. Surely one of the most beautiful creatures on the planet
