No Graylings yet and indeed I saw none last year mid July. Where exactly on the heath might I hope to find them - say next week or the week after?

Hi Jack,
I haven't been there for a number of years, but I seem to remember those I saw were to the right of the main track which runs towards the river. You obviously need a sunny day, and a bit of luck as they really are masters of disappearing... only taking flight as you are about to tread on them They like the open areas with sparse low plant cover away from the trees (which unfortunately doesn't help much as it is all like that).

That's exactly where I have looked in the past without success. I might have to go further afield to the Norfolk coast next week.
