Odd little moth

Post by eccles »

Any ideas? It's very small, 15mm wingspan.
Thanks.

Hi
Your moth is Endotricha flammealis, one of the Pyralids. It has a strange way of appearing to rest on the back edge of its wings with its head in the air.

Many thanks Brian. I hope they don't eat clothes as I've lost it.
