Adrian Riley's, British & Irish Butterflies, lists two sites.

The Raven NNR at T110 250 - Search broader tracks and clearings along marked trail south through the woods, and-

The undercliffs, small car park on left of exit from ferry terminal at T 145 130 - search along the footpath to the southeast.

I cannot advise strongly enough that you acquire this book. It is both an excellent reference work, and a good read.

Amazon have it on offer -http://www.amazon.co.uk/British-Irish-B ... 596&sr=1-1

Roger,

Thanks very much for the info- have yet to aquire Adrian's book - sounds like it is a required investment. Maybe that is why he didn't reply to the email asking for site info ;-)

Cheers
