Re: Rogues Gallery
Hi all,
We actually (perhaps surprisingly!) look like quite a normal bunch - although the 'shockers' may yet expose themselves! Fantastic perch Trev! I'm guessing that's a 4 plusser from the Ouse?

This one is reasonably typical of me. Hair (what's left of it) awry and about to take a photo with the lens cap on.

Hi Eccles,
It looks like you're running away, having taken some 'inappropriate' shots on that nudist beach behind you!

Re: Rogues Gallery
Quite close on both counts Neil,
But I would obviously have to shoot you if I told you exactly what river it was
Suffice to say all the fish I've had there look pretty much uncaught and the banks untrodden
PS: Annie... You were talking about the fish weren't you? and you seemed such a nice person in your photo.

Speaking as a local....I would bet it is in a quiet lode somewhere in the area of the Cam/Ouse confluence.....Trev Sawyer wrote:Quite close on both counts Neil,

Since that's quite a lot of water I reckon it's safe, Trev!
BTW Fantastic fish - eat your heart out John Wilson!

ps I cropped my photo so you can't see my gigantic man-sized hands holding the trophies. Honestly, the original photo looks like I've had a hand transplant off Lou Ferrigno
Re: Rogues Gallery
What did the fish weigh, Trev? It must go over 4...

Re: Rogues Gallery
Actually Martin it 'only' weighed 3lb 10oz...
I've had quite a few bigger ones there (including a few '4's'), but none quite as pristine-looking as that one. It really did look like it had just come out of the box
PS: I'm fortunate in that I don't have Annie's hands attached to my body (wait... hold that thought for a minute!... Sigh... oh yes, where was I?.. ), as most fish look big in my small mits.
Apologies to those non-anglers amongst you, but this damned weather is probably more suited to fish than butterflies

Re: Rogues Gallery
That photo of me getting a lift to a work party wasn't really clear enough to show me at my best.
This one is better for i/d purposes.

Re: Rogues Gallery
Martin - Yes a Tigerfish though not your typical one. This is actually a very small Goliath Tigerfish. Had a 'propper' one approx 35KG throw the bait on me. Never saw the fish but got a lovely set of bite marks in the bait. Fish of a lifetime lost goddamit! Still the place was amazing for butterflies which made up for it a little bit... only a little bit though grrr!

Re: Rogues Gallery
Finally a 3D pic with a sort of smile. That's it. I'm depressed now.

PS - At first I put Buffy there to focus the camera on while I set it up, but then I just thought she looked good. Pity about the reflection.
