Re: Daily Quiz
Sorry Guy - this one's for you
My first is in pudding and also in plum
My second in curls, but not in a bun
My third is in stumble, but never in fall
My fourth is in green, not bottle or wall
My fifth is in iris, but not in my eye
And there you now have it - so who am I?
Cheers,
- Pete

Re: Daily Quiz
Sorry Paul!
Now, it would be far too easy if I just asked what this butterfly is, so you must also attempt to determine its sex:
I'm afraid if an answer doesn't come before 8.00am tomorrow, Swiss time, I won't be able to judge my own question, because I'm off down the Rhône Valley (in the rain, probably), with Matt Rowlings, doing a bit of butterflying...

Re: Daily Quiz
Male Bath white it is.
Euchloe is close, Dave, but Pete was spot on.
As predicted, it's raining here, but I'm heading off to Butterflyland anyway. Have a nice day!

The population of one our resident species is supplemented (most years) with a non-resident subspecies. Which species is it?
