The cricket is one of the Sickle bearing bush crickets found by Dave Brown at Wye NNR. Kent. earlier in the year, the spider I can,t find in my spider field guide ,but interestingly it was about a metre away from a huge !!
female Wasp spider, again at Wye downs, and the bug is an odd looking beastie ,any ideas folks .many thanks Regards Allan.W,

Hi Allan,

I believe your bug is a Dock Bug nymph Coreus marginatus.

Your spider looks like a pale colour form of the Common Garden Spider Araneus diadematus.
Cheers Paul

For the spider I'd go for Neoscona adianta.

Hello Paul and Mikhail,
Thanks for looking at the Spider pic,i,m fairly familiar with Araneus Diadematus,Paul , and find it quite commonly in our garden, especially in the Autumn, and I know it is very variable colour (and size) wise, but this one had very distinct "V" shaped markings on its abdomen, something I don,t think I,ve seen in Ara; Diad. but I know it is quite variable.
Mikhail, must admit the abdomen markings do look very like Neoscona Adiantum, I found it on chalk downland, first week in September, I sent an e-mail some while back
to the British Arachnological society ( I think that's the name !) ,but two months on ,still waiting for a reply ! Many thanks Paul and Mikhail for taking the time to comment .much appreciated. Regards Allan.W.

Good call from Mikhail. Similar pattern but different colour and body shape is also slightly different shape to diadematus.
Cheers Paul
