COLLINS BUTTERFLY GUIDE NEW EDITION

I have just received the new edition of Collins Butterfly guide by Tolman and Lewington and it is absolutely wonderful.
It covers the whole of Europe including Eastern Europe but extends to the Azores, Madeira, North Africa and the islands on the west coast of Turkey.
Something as well that has changed from the previous edition is that distribution maps and plates are now on the same page as description which makes it a lot easier for field work. All species, their distribution, flight period, variation, habitat, life cycle and behaviour are covered.
The plates remain excellent, like in the previous edition!!
This is THE Guide that any enthusiasts MUST have.
