Another switch. This speckled wood presented itself with a nice diffuse background so I'll go with it for now. Besides, it's my first butterfly snapped with my new Sony A700. :)

Peacock dangling precariously upside down from a bluebell. Despite less than perfect focus I picked this for its comedy value.

You have to resize the image beforehand. I crop to 800 x 800.

An English species but photographed abroad in Provence, France last week. Will go hunting the natives again this weekend :)

Thanks Charles. There were loads of them in France and really photographer friendly unlike the British ones. I even have pics of one on my finger!
