Hi all,

Does anyone have, or know the whereabouts of, a good quality image showing a butterfly sitting on a nature reserve sign? I have seen the odd one over the years, but can't recall the species or photographer(s). This is for a BC publication. Please respond to this post if you can help. Many thanks.

I have two images of butterflies on signs, but neither are 'Neil Hulme standard', sadly.

The first was taken at Bentley Wood in July 2014 of a male Silver Washed Fritillary:

The second is of an unusual and noteworthy gathering of Red Admirals around this sign at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales:
