ID for two caterpillars and a slug please

All photos were taken in the Alpes-Maritimes at an altitude of about 200 meters.

The first was taken three weeks ago in the garden:

This one was this afternoon in the garden. It had a nearly vertical tail, and had eaten great quantities of Pelargonium leaves:

And this one was this morning. It was about 12 centimeters long :

EDIT: The second caterpillar seems to be some sort of Tussock Moth, probably Orgyia antiqua.

Hi Colin

Not sure about the first caterpillar but looks similar to some Burnet Moth caterpillars but they normally look shorter and fatter.

The second caterpillar is probably a Vapourer Moth Caterpillar and the slug could be a leopard slug although the spots look a bit too small.

Hopefully someone will be more helpful.

The first caterpillar may be Toadflax Brocade (similar to Mullein which is commonly seen being gregarious and feeding on verbascum).

The second is definitely Vapourer.
