I'm still learning to tell these apart, so netted a couple for a closer look.

Hi Kev,
These are Essex Skipper (Thymelicus lineola), the antennae being diagnostic. They are mostly males. The following image is of a male Small Skipper (Thymelicus sylvestris). This clearly shows the brown underside of the antenna.
