The idea was for all money collected to go to Birdlife International and Birdlife Malta for their campaign to stop the Maltese killing every migrant that comes anywhere near the island, so I think he can be let off the accusation of being entirely mercenary! I seem to remember that atropos is the species on the poster, but with the markings touched up by Salvador Dali to appear more 'spooky'

First three all look good for Common/Lesser Common Rustic - 4 could be Straw Underwing but it's a bit tricky from this angle

Second is definitely a Drinker - pre-overwintering form. Third looks good for Bright-Line-Brown-Eye, and the first could well be Silver Y

It's also worth checking the hindwing with the Uncertain/Rustic/Vine's Rustic trio - Vine's has pristine, almost pearlescent white hindwings, whereas Uncertain and Rustic have grubby-looking brownish-white hindwings. Yes, these are all Common Blue - Small Blue is relatively widespread on chalk downland in Dorset in my experience, but has very distinctive underwings, very different to here

It is Common Swift - the females are dark brown-grey, as here, whereas the males are a far brighter orange. The larvae food on the roots of grasses, and the female usually lays fairly indiscriminantly in flight

The long hairs mean that this isn't either 5 or 6-spot Burnet - they have hairs that are far shorter, as shown in the second picture. This is almost certainly Narrow-Bordered 5-Spot Burnet (I don't know the larvae of the rarer Burnets).

That matches where I've found Common Blue pupae before, both captive-bred and in the wild - matches both Adonis and Chalkhill blues too
