This is the long crop of a female kestrel, taken over a week ago. I was pretty chuffed with her.

Flammulina velutipes is the winter fungi. I have never ingested it, but it seems a good winter standby, if you have the edible fungi bug. Be sure of what you are eating though.

Nice shot Grud, i remember it taking me 3 years to find a perfect one with the gleba intact.( As in, untouched by flies.) You have to rise pretty early to get there before those blighters.
