A day of better weather at last: Went to Totternhoe Quarry and Ivinghoe Beacon yesterday to try to spot a Duke of Burgundy, but not sure we were in exactly the right place.... Saw plenty of small blues, orange tips, a peacock and a painted lady at the quarry, and some small heaths, a brimstone, moth...

There is hope yet then Pete... I'll keep my fingers crossed that there is some warm sunshine over the next couple of weekends.
