Another Arnside Fritillary

I found this one among my photographs. It was taken on a different part of the Knott. The postdiscal spots on the forewings seem to be more in line. Is this a Dark Green?

Sites near Bath

I'm visiting Bath for a couple of days in two weeks. Can any one suggest good sites within about 30 minutes? Being from the North west I don't know the area at all.

Fritillary Identification

I took the attached picture at Arnside Knott yesterday. I can't decide whether it is a Dark Green or a High Brown and I didn't see the underside. Any suggestions?

We were at Lulworth the week before last and there were plenty of Lulworth Skippers about then. There is a picture I took on the June competion page of one with a Small Copper. It was taken on Blindon Hill. It's a steep climb but well worth it for the view!

Is it Pearl Boardered Fritillary

Took this at Gait Barrows this afternoon. I thought it was a Pearl Boardered Fritillary. Now based on the size I wonder if it's a Small Pearl Boardered Fritillary.

Small Tortoiseshell

Advice please. A small tortoiseshell has taken up residence in my daughter's bedroom (Burnley Lancashire). It appears to be trying to hibernate. Given that the room is centrally heated, should we leave it, move it somewhere cooler such as the garage or shed or release it outside. The temperature was...
