Marsh Fritillary on Lydlinch Common

Wednesday 13 under new lockdown guidelines I drove to Lydlinch and despite a real nip in the air 11 degrees and a blustery wind I was rewarded when the sun came by seeing numerous Marsh Frits. Brightened my day 😀

Mansmead Wood - Somerset

Has anyone been to Mansmead Wood? (Square ST)

If so where do you park / walk / see butterflies? (!)

Had a rather abortive trip today - a little disappointing given the long list of species that pertain to the site - I was clearly in the wrong bit of the wood

Help would be gratefully received
