Hi Guy and David,
Many thanks for both of you. I never heard or seen one before. Looking through found a second picture taken 3 days earlier in the same garden, rather blurred but looks like a male Lang's Short-Tailed Blue. Attached for interest.

Hi, These pictures were taken about a week ago in Madeira. Not terribly good pictures. Wing span approximately 2cm or less. Is it a small blue please? Cheers Sezar

Unusual Comma

Picture taken 2 weeks ago in the garden. This comma appears to have a line running right through the right front wing. All pictures have same mark. Comments will be appreciated. Damaged wing? Sezar :?

This was taken recently at Longleat Forest, lighting was poor. Is it a female Silver washed fritillary?

Essex Skipper ID please

The pictures were taken on 28Th July at Mill Hill Sussex. Both same skipper. The antenna tips jet black with black along the length of antenna. Is this a Essex Skipper please? Cheers Sezar

Aston Rowant, 15 plus silver spotted skippers. Few at Bold Hill. Hold Hill has a good number of Chiltern Gentian in flower. Cheers Sezar
