Found an unusually dark marked small skipper yesterday, one which ive not seen as dark before.
Has anyone any referance to this as being within normal variation as ive looked in a the species file and found nothing to match.

for anyone who's interested,
there has been a big beautiful white tailed sea eagle knocking around in hordle on the south side of the new forest for a few days now and it seems to have put up temporary home in some local paddocks.
