Re: Motion detection software that uses camera?

I know that Zigview make a clip on digital viewfinder that has motion detection, the Zigview-R.

it has
Motion Detection with User Definable Areas Shutter Release Mode.

http://www.maxmax.com/Zigview.htm

Bet it's an arm and a leg though.

Re: Archiving digital image files

Well the best solution to backing is to NOT use one source to back up your stuff on, use quite a Exactly what happened to me, I lost all images I took from January to early May as forgetting to backup and my ha drive going kaput. I am in same boat, if anyone knows a good way of backing up my images...

Thanks, would be nice if they come up with a mod for this. I'm so used to using it on my own SMF based forum, I'm lost without it now.

Re: View replies

Pete,

Thanks for the swift reply.

I have to be honest and say I thought this was a standard feature on most forums. Then I looked here on the phpbb forums, http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 2&t=578221

Re: Camera RAW

Don't quote me on this, but I believe once you have Camera RAW 4.6 installed, you will also be able to install the camera profiles. (Camera Matching profiles that match the camera manufacturers' colour appearance)

Dave, (I could be wrong, but) looking at your pics there's some very heavy shadows. It looks like you were blocking out the light whilst leaning over to take the shots. Using a compact at 400 ISO I would think will give you noise problems. You could try a longer focal length, and then crop. Your cam...

Pete, is the camera still in warranty? Providing it is, and you live within reach of a Canon service centre, then you can have the first clean free of charge. I would phone and check first though. I had my sensor cleaned FOC on my 30D a few months back, not been a problem since. The Visible d...

desong, I also use the Tamron SP 90mm Di macro, and love it. As you said though the auto focus is quite noisy, and the other downside is the lens extends a lot at 1.1. I believe the Canon 100mm , and the sigma 105mm don't extend at all. It's very sharp though, and I'm very pleased with it.
