I use a Canon EOS with a Tamron 28 to 300 zoom lens. A couple of weeks ago I took this photo - the "posing" rather amused me!

Do any other forum members have any photos with unusual butterfly "poses"?

Yesterday I walked along an ancient byway near my village and came across a gang of butterflies gorging themselves on a pile of fresh horse poo! A first for me: have any other forum members seen anything similar?

I'm a keen amateur photographer and walk a lot on the byways, footpaths and bridleways near my village in Cambridgeshire. Last week I took a photo of what I thought was an unusual butterfly, but I can't identify it. So, is it a butterfly? A moth? Can anyone help please?
