I had a day off on Monday from WFH. It didn't feel too different from the other days but I'm lucky I can get out into the countryside very quickly for my walk. I am going to re-christen today's "exercise" walk red admiral day - loads of them about suddenly.

Plus an obliging roadside Holly Blue and a female Orange Tip. Honest - it is a female OT.

On my circular exercise walks over the long weekend, I noticed my first female Orange Tip of the year, with a couple of very interested males in the vicinity. One male obliged by staying still just long enough for me to snap him with my point-and-click.
