Common blue?

http://upload4.postimage.org/730312/IMG_2252.jpg http://upload4.postimage.org/730318/IMG_2259.jpg Forgive the quality, it was overcast and very windy. Taken at Arnside Knott It looks just like a Common Blue, but it was about 1/2 the size, and all the others in the area were the same size. Is there ...

Hehe, I'll make the trip anyhow, I'll be glad of a break and its been a while since I have been camping.

wwwa.accuweather.com tells me it will be "Warm with sunny periods", so as long as I use that forcast everything should be fine!

Mine is a male then? http://www.wayno.myby.co.uk/album/Butterflies/slides/IMG_1426.JPG Sorry to hijack your post David! By the way, my aftershave might work with fritillaries but it doesn't seem to have the same effect with blondes, brunettes and red heads. Hmm mine isn't working either, perhaps tal...

Nice pic :D

For years and years this thing has evaded me, I've only seen one 2 times, once as a young child and once earlier this year outside my window at work!

I'm determined to get a photo of one this year though...

I use iPhoto to catalogue and crop my pics (it makes it really easy to set or keep aspect ratio)

I use Adobe Photoshop for editing, but to be honest I'm not very good at it (I think I need a crashcourse!)

On the PC I used to use Paint Shop Pro, great program!

OSX (mac's OS) streams wmv fine as long as you have the addon installed. It also plays just about anything else, however I also refuse to install any Real applications for the same reasons outlined by Mark, it really used to mess up Windows systems. Of course you wouldnt have this problem with a mac...
