of butterflies, three Small Tortoiseshell's basking on a corrugated roof- my potting shed. This Small Copper was here and gone in a few seconds.

Great photos of the Comma, I don't care for those of spiders and close up of the darter. Give me a really nice photo of a butterfly any time. Also Jack explaining why the white butterfly appeared too white is always a problem now I know what I should do, maybe difficult to do with a compact camera. ...

I don't mind collecting larvae for someone else but I don't like touching catapillars and if they got out of their box or nest and start crawling round the house ugh. I'm not laughing, poor little orse :( . I was too busy taking photos. Tomorrow when I playing golf, just before I hit the ball I'll think of you Jack and that ball will go miles :lol: or perhaps I'll think of Mr. Jones. I :lol:

What was the question again? I've promise someone higher not to mention the 'R' word again :wink: Where can I buy a yellow Buddlia. Oh! BTW does anyone what to buy 32 big bale of hay good for horses, no 'R' in it, collect only. Thank you.

That's what happens when you eat the 'R' word have you noticed you've only taken the photo of half a butt'fly, have you gone cross-eyed. :)

I'm glad your seeing some butterflies at last Dave, may be in Northern Ireland and North Wales we'll have an Indian Summer, we certainly deserve one, look forward to seeing your photos.

So, we're back on the Ragwort, tomorrow I'll call in the local vets and asked them how dangerous ragwort is to animals. Why when I sell my big bale hay to famers, do they ask 'is there any ragwort in this hay'? Its deadly to horses and cattle fresh or dried, its not meant to be a joke, its not somet...
