Christmas will be here soon, I like seeing the Christmas trees in everyone's house and the lovely displays with the outside lights...

Re: Not Lepidoptera (Birds)
Hi Jerry,
You have some very nice photos yourself and we may get some photos at the weekend, the artic weather is 'coming'. Lucky you seeing a butterfly end of November, there's been no sighting of any butterflies here in North Wales.

Re: Not Lepidoptera (Birds)
Not if Jack Harrison is watching, he's not used to words like that
and not with the web-site The Artist Web where I have my 'things' for sale, they called it an improper word.
It cost me £6 to see those butterflies on Saturday.

Yesterday in the Butterfly Farm on Anglesey, unfortunatly there were only about half a dozen butterflies there, this is one of them, I know its not a bird but this Dunnock is which I took the photo to-day and a couple of Blue Titmouse's.

Short film of The life cycle of the Orange Tip Butterfly
I've just been on the web-site of the Butterfly Conservation Cheshire and Peak District Branch and they have a delightful short film of The life cycle of the Orange Tip Butterfly. Has anyone got the technology to do something similar on this web-site, if not, pop over and see their film- worth seein...

Re: Taking photos 'Raw'
I've done the updates but it looks a bit complicated, nothing is easy I suppose. Thanks for the advice Eccles. At least now I know what the silkypix developer is.

Re: Taking photos 'Raw'
I have found what I think I need for the development of Raw photos, under my nose all the time. An icon called Silverpix developer, having opened it, looks very complicated so I'll have a go at it one evening. That icon has been on my monitor for months a bit like an ornament.

Taking photos 'Raw'
Can anyone tell me why when I take a photo 'Raw'. When the photos are transfered onto the computor there is the photo and there is also a sort of icon that's only opened with photoshop but when I opened it it was just a square of grey, what is that about? Thanks Shirley
