I live in the far west of Cornwall near Land's End and counted in my garden during a 2 hour timed count a total of 71 Painted Ladys. Very few of these appeared to be revisiting. Most would stop briefly on my Buddleia bush before flying on. The counts in my garden have been 1st August 1, 2nd August 5...
