Small copper likes the same plant,

Hi, All.
A small copper likes the same plant even with other flowers around. I go to this Ragwort and it's there, today it had a mate.

If yo...

Another collage

Hi, everyone.
Another collage with some new and some old friends.
Could not get the Brimstone with open wings.
Hoverfly was big thought it was a wasp at first.
Beetle. Hope its not a Colorado beetle.
The Blue one on the Ivy leaf is near Holly so hope not the same as other Blues. .

Hi, everyone.

Skippers same critter. But is it Essex as before. Not many about now compared to a week or so ago. Common Blues about now with a few Argus Browns.

Hi, All. Remember I posted a photo of a large Skipper on a cactus in a glasshouse last year and said it was the first one I had ever seen. Then saw some on holiday in Canada. Well Today 15th July 2015 I have managed to snap loads in our field of only and few acres, after seeing some a few days earli...

Clouded Yellow perhaps.

Hi, All. Spotted this whilst mowing the grass on a warm windy day, 19th Oct, 2014 Thought it looked out of place and realised it was not a normal white butterfly. This photo is the best I could do. Hope you think it is a Clouded Yellow as I have not seen one of these before. 1-WP_20141019_004-001.jpg
