I not only wanted a closer view but I dearly hoped I would get a better photo too. Well thanks to a friend of a frien...

Re: Hoggers

Get well soon Hoggers. Indeed netting is such a selfish and needless activity WHY! I spent another fruitless day searching for a LTB, I haven't quite given up hope yet but it's getting harder to feel optimistic..... oh well onwards and upwards :D

Re: Butterflysaurus rex

It's the Meadow Brown for me, B'Saurus:Wonderful! It's a butterfly so common as to be almost invisible and your photograph has given it centre stage. That photograph will brighten me up when Winter comes. I'm really pleased you like it Hoggers, it's not the tidiest picture with that seed head droop...

Re: Long tailed Blues in Kent

Hi to the people I met at kingsdown leas today. I won't bore you with the details but conditions were not favourable and I didn't see any long tailed blues nor did anyone else I spoke to. I can certainly sympathise Susie, I know how it feels to travel a long distance and not see anything. The weath...

Re: Long tailed Blues in Kent

Butterflysaurus Rex eats 'nasty netters' for breakfast, they taste pretty awful so I spit most of em out after a bit of a chew  being half Dinosaur has it's advantages  Sadly there will always be some unpleasant and highly selfish individuals out there. I'm saddened by this kind of be...
