thanks - re site details - tried Beeding wihtout luck, and the embankement - again without luck though there was a report of briefing sightings, but did not try Tidal Mills as I only pick up the grdi ref upon return home

are any details of the Newhaven/seaford site availbale? Off to Shoreham cement works and would appreciate a back up site, just in case avoiding a trip to Kent - such as heading to Minnis Bay

Bradenham

Up 80 + Dark Green Fritillaries active, though often alighting to nectar. 20 + Marbled Whites and host of meadow Browns. Odd Common Blue. Did not check the Samll Blue area. Small Skippers - ID not checked as they would not settle.

avoding stating the obvious, in discussion doing the obvious - it was suggested by someone I met that the Glanvilles had been there for 11 years? and that in the last few year Heaths had been added to those introduced. Have been threre that long? Seems to be rather long.
