Orange-tip in the middle of pupating. The finished item, found in the garden on some Blackthorn. This one is such a lovely colour, but has been attacked by a parasite.

Freshly laid Orange-tip ovum.

On the coldest day of the winter down here in Surrey, one Peacock seen in a local field, whilst walking my dog. Seen at 12.48pm. The earliest i have seen this species.
