I don't think I have aired these ones yet 'cos they didn't present an ID issue. These are 2 different butterflies I have labelled Dewy Ringlet, now the underside I am no longer certain about, and the upperside butterfly has very pronounced hindwing spots.. is that usual for pandrose?... somewhat wor...

There are 3 groups of argus in Yorkshire.. a) resident agestis b) colonizing agestis, and.. c) resident artaxerxes Resident agestis are small Wolds based colonies and usually single brooded, on Rockrose foodplant.
