Somehow I missed this post yesterday but was up in time to flick through channels & find it in time to see 2nd half. Then went to "catch up" on Sky & watched the whole programme again, enjoyable way to start a dull December sunday. Eric

This afternoon (Oct 11th) in Holme village Norfolk I had a mating pair of Wall Brown's, fresh female & male a little worn. Yesterday in Holme dunes a very fresh mating pair of Common Darters. Seems fresh females are still emerging after this good summer we have had. Eric

This afternoon I saw 4 very fresh male Wall Browns @ Holme dunes NWT on Norfolk coast. I assume these could be 3rd brood rather than late 2nd brood as Neil has already described good numbers of 3rd brood on south coast. Eric

I use 2 fz150's, one has a old Sony 1758TC permanently attached for birding etc. That is usually set in good light @ the 5.5/sec -0.33ev & S mode @ 1/1000th, works for me most of the time.
