Contributions to this website are always very welcome! This page contains guidelines for contributors.

Articles

Articles such as trip reports, reviews and observations are one of the most valuable contributions a member can make. The preferred text format for articles is Microsoft Word. If this is not possible, please use unformatted text. If the article (such as a trip report) includes photos, then please send these too. Images need be no larger than 1200 x 1200 pixels in size. Please send any contribution to Pete Eeles.

Photos

Photos are of particular interest for obvious reasons, especially those that fill gaps in the main species pages. A page showing photos of all species and stages used on the main species pages can be seen here. In addition, the website provides examples of the upperside and underside of both male and female of each species, as seen here (this may take a little while to render). If you are able to fill a gap, then it's best (to alleviate the "bottleneck" caused when photos get sent to a particular individual) to:

Register on the forums.
Post your contribution(s) in the Species-Specific Album as explained in the Gallery Guidelines.

The website moderators will do the rest.

Videos

The website currently has no direct facility for the uploading of videos. It is recommended that, at this time, all members upload their videos to YouTube.

Policy

No contributions will be sent on to a third party.
There is no guarantee that your contribution will be included. A reason will be given if this is the case.
The copyright of each contribution will remain with the contributor, and the copyright shown on this website.
A contributor can withdraw their contributions at any time, and their contributions will be removed from this website.
